FAQs
01. What is a Pet Sitter?
Pet Sitting is defined as caring for a pet in it's own home while it's owner is away. Dog walking is also considered Pet Sitting due to the fact that it involves going to the pet's home to provide both exercise and companionship. Some pet sitters and dog walkers offer additional servicers in their home but those are not considered "pet sitting". Taking care of the pet in the client's home is what separates "Pet Sitting" from "Boarding".

03. What does a Pet Sitter do?
Pet Sitters care for pets in their own home. Pet owners will often use pet sitters when going away on vacation, traveling for business, when working long hours, or if they're too sick or injured to care for their pets. Pet sitters often drop-in more than once per day. It is good to set up a Meet and Greet and have us on stand by.

During a pet sitting visit, your pet sitter will do a multitude of tasks to include:

-
Feeding and watering pets
-
Providing exercise and play to pets
-
Cleaning litter boxes and other pet messes
-
Administering pet medications, if needed
-
Providing lots of cuddles and boops!

Pet sitters will also bring in the mail/newspaper, alternate the blinds and lights, drip faucets (if needed), put the trash out/bring trash in, and other small tasks to give the home a "lived-in" look while the home owners are away.
